PTC/USER members have a broad range of interests, industries, and challenges. Sessions offered in the Special Topics track allow PTC/USER and PTC to address a wide variety of subjects that are of interest to the diverse user community, including topics outside of the product family agendas.

Through our educational programming, we bring you the latest news, cutting-edge information and best methodologies in use today. S1000D "101": Specification Overview, Best Practices, and Tips and Tricks

This session is a condensed one-day event modeled after the two-day paid training offered by PTC University. Throughout this session, PTC subject matter experts will provide an in-depth review and background of the S1000D specification up to Issue 4 including S1000D business rules; authoring interactive technical manuals (IETM); automated publishing and managing applicability in S1000D for print, electronic and interactive output; and how to use and create associative technical illustrations from original CAD/Product Data. Detailed study guides will be made available to all attendees. This session will begin promptly at 8:30am and continue until 5:30pm and will include a lunch break.
