The Data Exchange & Archive Technical Committee comprises users of a range of backgrounds from a variety of industries who want to drive advancement of PTC tools, improve processes, and resolve immediate issues. This TC covers data exchange, data translation, and long-term archiving of data. Topics include STEP, IDF, ODB++, LOTAR, native translators, feature-based translation, and related topics. New members are welcome as we are always looking for more ideas, both on needs and solutions. Look for announcements for the 3rd Wednesday of the month combined MCAD/MBE TC meetings and other meetings as needed.
PTC/USER Technical Committees consist of customers like you who work together with PTC Product Managers talking about how the products work today and what can be done to make them even better. Joining a Technical Committee is a great way to have your voice heard and network with your peers in industry.
We welcome new members! Please apply for PTC/USER Sheetmetal Technical Committee or any other TC that may interest you via the PTC/USER portal.

This webinar will explore the foundational elements required for model-based definition (MBD)and its deliverables both internally and externally to the organization. Furthermore, a clear distinction must be made between in deliverable types for human visualization and for machine consumption. These deliverables are often quite different for various part families and assembly types. From this foundation companies can create, refine, and execute an effective model-based strategy.

Technology dramatically changes how we deliver and experience service
Technology innovation is raging like a tsunami, dramatically changing products and how we deliver and experience service. With that change, we must reassess how we define Service Lifecycle Management, which now more closely aligns with the definition of Digital Thread.
There is a ubiquitous market need for asset uptime and availability, and a Digital Thread delivers the data to ensure that critical assets stay up and running.
Join PTC thought leaders during this 60-minute webcast as they appraise Service Lifecycle Management through a Digital Thread lens, sewn from engineering and manufacturing through service to replace the dated siloed approach with modern technology and data.
By registering, I acknowledge that my personal details will be processed in accordance with PTC's privacy policy and that they may be shared with PTC Inc.'s subsidiaries and members of the PTC Partner Network for the promotion of PTC's products and associated services.

For medical device manufacturers, improving patient outcomes and achieving regulatory compliance are one and the same. However, the extra effort that regulation brings is eating away limited R&D budgets.
On PTC's new web page: “Regulatory Compliance in Healthcare Solutions” we outline how Windchill is the product quality and compliance backbone that reduces time and money which medical device manufacturers have to devote to regulatory compliance.
